This book is an attempt to make available in one place all the study materials of the course “Fluid Mechanics and Machinery” as per the latest syllabus of Anna University affiliated institutions. Autonomous institutions and Deemed universities based on the vast teaching experience of the author. For Anna University affiliated colleges, this course is common for Mechanical, Aeronautical, Material Science, Manufacturing, Production and Industrial engineering programmes. The basic concepts along with as many solved problems as possible have been provided keeping in mind the various question paper patterns. The solved problems provided after the theory portion will help the students to understand the concepts better. Two mark questions and answers are included at the end for each chapter. Each chapter in the book corresponds to each unit of the course.
